Sekou Cooke MArch ’14, was highlighted by Architectural Record for “Making the Case for Hip-Hop Architecture,” mentioning his presentation, “Towards a Hip-Hop Architecture: New York Edition,” which was distilled from a two-day symposium held at Syracuse last March. “Hip-hop came out of very specific architectural space, Cooke said.
